Celebrity Chef Tips for a Perfect Bank Holiday BBQ
Whether you’re having a wedding BBQ or just a plain old family BBQ in the good weather, I’ve got some amazing tips here that are simple to do, but will make your food taste amazing!
This fab platter photo is by the brilliant Christian Michael and taken from Tom and Marisa’s wedding feature. It may not actually be BBQ food but it does have sausages on it (and it does look delicious!)
? Jamie Oliver’s BBQ recipes advise to buy larger cuts of meats to be used on a BBQ than you normally would. It makes it easier for the meat to be crispy on the outside and still moist on the inside. Here’s a recipe for his delicious-looking barbequed chicken kebabs
? Gordon Ramsey advises not hitting the drink before you start the BBQ! He also advises not prodding the meat, or moving it around the grill.
? How about some dips for your guests to nibble on while they’re waiting for the main event? Nigella has some awesome summer dip recipes including this delicious summery cheese dip
? Finally here are Heston Blumenthal’s tips for the perfect Summer salad (keep it simple, basically!)
To finish, what better than homemade ice cream? You can check out my celebrity wedding ice cream recipes here.
All that’s left to say is woooo hooooooo bank holiday weekend! Let’s hope the sun shines and we all have celebrity chef-inspired BBqs and drink that extra glass of wine (even though it’s a school night)
With that, I wish you the best in your relationship and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me via email.
